These are some of the containers we made out of one piece of paper.
Sarah's container held 4 and 1/4 cups of beans. That was the container that held the most. Some of us thought that the tallest container would hold the most but that did not happen. We are enjoying discovering which containers hold the most.

On Thursday afternoon an exciting thing happened in our classroom. Our last butterfly hatched! Some of the children were lucky enough to still be around to see it happen. We watched it come out of its chrysalis and slowly unfurl its wings. On Friday we all had a chance to let it walk across our hands. "It tickles," said Amelia.
